Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you arrive at the lake.

Drive to the Lake Lumot Boat Terminal in Cavinti, Laguna — approximately 2.5 to 3 hours from Manila via SLEX or CALAX. From the terminal, take a 20-minute boat ride to the property. Parking is available at the terminal. Note that the boat terminal operates until 6:00 PM, so plan your departure from Manila accordingly. The boat transfer fee is charged as a round trip.
There is no WiFi at Glamping Etc. — and that's entirely intentional. The retreat is designed to help you disconnect, rest, and reconnect with nature. Mobile phone signal may be limited on the island. We recommend downloading any maps, offline content, or playlists before you make the boat crossing. Some guests actually say it's the best part of the trip.
Every stay includes luxury mattresses, soft linens, towels, and toiletries. Breakfast for 2 guests per unit is served daily from 7:30–9:30 AM. All water activities are complimentary — kayaks, floaters, bodyboards, fishing rods, and life vests. Access to the bamboo jetty, hammocks, bonfire area, and yoga space is free for all guests. Lunch and dinner are available by advance order at the pavilion kitchen and bar.
Yes! Glamping Etc. welcomes families with children. Children aged 5 and under stay free. Extra beds can be arranged for an additional fee. Parents should note the property is on a lake — children should be supervised near the water at all times. Life vests are provided and available for all water activities.
Pets are not permitted at Glamping Etc. Philippines. The property does have its own resident farm chickens roaming the grounds — an unexpected but beloved part of the experience for many guests!
Yes, the geodesic domes are fully weatherproof — guests have shared that rainy days inside the dome are actually magical, with the sound of rain on the transparent panels and the lake all around you. The transparent dome panels allow you to watch the rain and passing clouds from your bed. Guests have shared rainy-day dome photos that are some of the most beautiful in our entire feed.
Glamping Etc. has only 5 units, so availability — especially on weekends and holidays — goes quickly. We recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance for weekends, and at least 4 to 6 weeks ahead for long weekends, holiday seasons, and December. Dome Veera in particular fills up fast due to its Exceptional rating. Booking via Airbnb gives you automatic calendar management; for faster confirmation, message us directly on WhatsApp.
Yes — lunch and dinner are available at the pavilion kitchen and bar, but must be ordered in advance (ideally the evening before or early in the morning). The kitchen serves Filipino home-style meals using fresh local ingredients. Please coordinate with the caretaker team upon arrival to arrange your meal schedule. The property does not have a fully à la carte restaurant, but the food — made with care by the local family team — is consistently praised by guests.
